Northwest Broadway Urban Design Master Plan

Thank you for viewing the Draft Plan of the Northwest Broadway Urban Design Master Plan. Otak Inc. and Crandall Arambula have prepared two alternatives for six properties located along Broadway near Union Station.

These six publicly held properties, located in the center of the River District, offer an exciting opportunity to improve connections between the Pearl District and Old Town/Chinatown, create a pedestrian friendly environment and enhance Portland's Transportation Center. The Consultant Team, with a Steering Committee and the Portland Development Commission have proposed land uses, scale and massing for new development, street improvements and other urban design features for the area.

For the next two months, the Project Team will be presenting the alternatives to neighborhood groups, City bureaus and other interested parties. In addition, we will be analyzing project benefits, costs, feasibility and a scope and strategy for securing public and private investment for the two alternatives. This will result in a preferred schedule and action plan.
