Oregon Convention Center

The Alberta Streetscape Project was initiated by community members to plan and build transportation improvements that would improve the safety and visual quality of the street, in addition to supporting the commercial and residential revitalization on and near Alberta Street.

The project area is on N.E. Alberta Street, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the west to N.E. 33rd Avenue on the east. The Portland Development Commission is proud to be a partner in this project. Since November 1999, the Portland Development Commission has committed over $1,000,000 to building the recommended improvements on the portion of the street that is within the Oregon Convention Center Urban Renewal Area.
