Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd added to City’s TOD Tax Exemption Program Boundaries

The City of Portland established the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Property Tax Exemption Program to support high density housing and mixed use development along transit corridors. Eligible projects may receive as much as a 10-year property tax exemption.

On November 8, 2006 City Council approved Ordinance No. 180572 which altered the program’s boundaries and changed the programs regulations.  Sandy Boulevard, NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, and Foster Road Main Street areas were added to the program boundaries.
