PDC Advisory Committee Application

The Portland Development Commission (PDC) believes that meaningful, timely and effective public participation is essential to successfully implement PDC policies, program and projects.

A citizen advisory committee is a tool that PDC uses to involve citizens, urban renewal area (URA) stakeholders and/or project partners more directly in planning, program development and decision making. Committees may be formed for geographic or program areas, or to evaluate proposals for specific projects. Some committees are short lived (i.e. two to six weeks), while others involve substantial time commitments (i.e. monthly meetings for two years).

If you are interested in serving on a PDC committee, please complete this application.

The Commission will use this information when considering appointments to advisory committees. Please note that PDC’s policy is to not share personal contact information when requested by private or public entities. However, this application is a public document and may be subject to public disclosure if requested under the Oregon Public Records Law. In the past, PDC has received requests for lists of active committee members, including requests from media sources and political officials.
