Portland Transportation
View "A History of Public Transit in Portland" and "The TriMet Story" exhibits on TriMet's website. TriMet riders can take a journey back through time to the dawn of transit in the Portland area. Starting as far back as the late 1800s, view the decline and resurgence of public transportation in the city. Many of the photos were graciously provided by the Oregon Historical Society; the rest come from TriMet archives.
