Third Annual Lents Resource Fair Slated for April
WHAT |
Due to the success of past Lents Resource Fairs, PDC is planning to host the event for a third year. The resource fair brings together representatives from PDC, city bureaus, elected officials and area non-profit organizations to celebrate the community and provide information on resources available to people who live, work and do business in Lents. |

WHO |
The event is sponsored by PDC and will include elected officials and representatives from Tri-Met and city bureaus including Environmental Services, Parks, Transportation and the Fire Bureau. Area non-profits will also participate including Zenger Farms, Rose Community Development Corp., Portland Youth Builders, Johnson Creek Watershed Council and many more. Kids will have an opportunity to learn about the Portland Fire Bureau through a variety of activities, learn about watershed health through the Environmental Services educator program and locate their homes using an interactive computer program. |

WHY |
There are many positive programs and resources in the Lents Neighborhood. The Resource Fair is an opportunity to bring people together to celebrate successes, learn about ongoing efforts, and provide ideas and comments to the Portland Development Commission, city elected officials city staff and discover the many non-profit groups offering their services in Lents. |
