Housing Services:
Leander Court Project
In September, 2007, ROSE Community Development Corporation and partners celebrated the opening of Leander Court, a new 37 unit housing project on SE 122nd Ave. south of Holgate. The apartments include three- and four-bedroom units suitable for families with children, and are affordable to families earning below 50% and 30% of the area Median Family Income ($33,950 and $20,350, respectively). Two of the apartments include space for child care businesses and open out to a secure playground for young children.

The project includes many sustainability features which will help residents save on utility costs, create less of an impact on natural resources, and support a healthy living environment. The project is not in an urban renewal area, but PDC partnered with ROSE to secure funding for the project including 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal HOME funds from the City's Bureau of Housing and Community Development, and the City's Housing Opportunity Bond. For more information on Leander Court, contact ROSE CDC.
