Housing Services:
Home Again - A 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness

PDC partners with the Housing Authority of Portland, Multnomah County, the City's Bureau of Housing and Community Development, and other partners to create permanent housing opportunities and service facilities in support of ending homelessness. Since this plan was adopted in 2004, PDC has funded new and rehabilitated rental housing units helping hundreds of formerly homeless individuals and families move--and stay--off the streets. This housing is developed primarily by our nonprofit partners and includes services that help these households be successful.

8NW8 is a signature project PDC funded for the 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness. It is 180 units of affordable rental housing in the Pearl District that provides an alcohol and drug-free environment for individuals struggling with recovery from addiction, many of whom were previously homeless for many years. It is owned and managed by Central City Concern.
