Lead Wipe KitLead Hazard Control Program:
Dust Wipe Kit Order Form

Lead-based paint was used in many homes built prior to 1978. When lead-based paint is disturbed through remodeling, daily wear and tear on doors, windows and other painted surfaces, or deteriorated by age, it creates dust. It is this dust that can poison children. Even a small amount of dust can be enough to harm a child. This free dust wipe kit allows you to test the dust that you can’t see.

If your home was built before 1978, please fill out the request form below. Kits are also available at the following locations:

One free dust wipe kit per address. Kits limited to residents of Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington and Clark (WA) County. The kit will not work for testing toys.
