Nearby Parking and Validation Policy — In order to facilitate and accommodate the involvement of citizens, stakeholders and partners in PDC meetings and business activities, yet conservatively and prudently manage public funds, PDC will validate parking for certain visitors, under certain conditions.
  1. Generally, parking for the following visitors may be validated, at the discretion of a supervisor or manager with expenditure authority.
    1. PDC Commissioners
    2. Members of a committee, task force or work group assembled and sponsored by a PDC project, while meeting at a PDC office.
    3. Guests of PDC staff who are not being compensated by PDC, and who are invited for a business purpose.
  2. Generally, parking for the following visitors will not be validated.
    1. Persons seeking, soliciting or obtaining information, services, employment, or financial assistance, including:
      1. Vendors
      2. Contractors
      3. Developers
      4. Job applicants
      5. Bidders
      6. Students
      7. Consultants
      8. Loan applicants
    2. Relatives or friends of employees, whether for a business purpose or not.
  3. Only parking at a lot in the area managed by City Center can be validated. (View a map showing all of these convenient parking facilities located near PDC offices.)
  4. Authorization. Parking validation will not be honored by the lot attendant unless all of the following information is provided on the back of the ticket.
    1. Guest / Authorization
      1. Name of Guest
      2. Name of PDC Project (to be billed)
      3. Name of Authorizing PDC employee (printed)
      4. Signature of Authorizing PDC employee
